

I think I am satisfied with my final design and layout here. I like the fact that I left the background white considering the content. Seems more... elegant... to me, if we are going to play the stereotypical gender roles I think elegant is appropriate.
My graphic at the top of my first page was too narrow but Rusty hooked me up with some useful tips. I extended it in Photoshop with the clone stamp.
The shoe on the second page was a small, solid graphic in the maker comp, but I went rogue and changed it to the background, transparent, visual texture that you see before you.
And again on Rusty's advice I put the "Art Or Sport" header on the second page, which I definitely approve of. It's effective in tying the two pages together as well as adding some color to page two.
In both headlines I took colors from my graphic on page one.
I'm not convincing myself with the text wrap around the "g" in the page one headline.
