Final - Photoshop

I chose this as my best photoshop. I think it's mostly because I did so little in photoshop thought the year as far as final production. This was spent all in photoshop.
Plus it just worked. I did the assignment. Yay.

Final - Illustrator

I chose this as my best for Illustrator because I put in the most time on it and I feel like I used the proper techniques in creating color shapes. I don't think I have any extra nodes or anything either.
When I find the actual car I will load it instead of the ad.

Final - Creative concept

This is my choice for creative concept because I took the time to actually come up with one. I usually throw together what I can at the last minute but with this I read the guidelines and did the brainstorming and spent time on comps. So I put work into this more than normal.
And even though it is simple, I found I was the only one (in the beta lab) to use cows for ag day and a chili cookoff. Maybe because I'm vegetarian? Who knows?

Final - Best design structure AND Best in InDesign

I enjoy this design structure the most because I feel there is a good hierarchy with the header on page one and the sub header on page two.
I feel that the images are good for attention catching and not distracting. The background on page two is basically just meant for visual texture. I feel like that was accomplished.
I also used the colors from the picture on page one in the headers to help tie it all together.

Also, This is my choice for technical proficiency in InDesign. To me it has decent visual appeal but mostly I did everything by the books as far as I know. Links worked, color modes are right, used columns. I like it.

Final - Best copyfitting

This is my best example of copy fitting for one simple reason, I did it right. With the exception that I forgot about paragraphs after the first one. But other than that I was able to negotiate around the pictures and create even columns AND make everything fit.
So my best copy fitting is the one that worked. For sure.

Final - Best marker comp

I chose this as my best marker comp mainly because it was the cleanest and most accurate comp I have made.
In the final production I ended up re-arranging the voice bubbles and the e-mail but the rest stayed essentially the same. I really tried to take the time to make this one work because we had to create our own graphic and I wanted it to be consistent.

Final Portfolio - One example of my best use of typography

I chose this as my best use of typography mostly because it looks clean to me. I like the two serif fonts chosen because they are very legible. The fact that they are serif makes them legible but still interesting with a little bit of elegance to compliment the violin theme but without having to use a possibly confusing and possibly unnecessary script font.
The left justified body reflects position of the grey box and the right justified headline reflects position of the violin.
I also sort of liked the partial underlining in the headline.
